I have looked it up on Google. I looked it up on Bing. I looked it up on Yahoo! I can’t find it anywhere. I have used Pioneer Drama, Internet Theatre Bookshop, Amazon, Brooklyn Publishers, everywhere I can think of. Please help me. If you know where I can get it for free would be even better. Note: couldn’t find it on simplyscripts.com or imdb.com

Funny story, or not really, I am supposed to prepare a french presentation, and i chose to do one on Les Misérables, as I love the musical. Unfortunately my teacher assumed I meant the book, which I haven’t read. I was planning to read the book, but it has been ordered to arrive in our bookshop tomorrow, and my first draft of the presentation is in for next week - I won’t have read it in time… Can anyone help me, tell me the main differences, and warn me about what to avoid if I write about the musical in general terms - someone who has both read the book and seen the musical…?
It’s quite important - A level and all… I hope someone can help…
Thanks

I won’t be going into a lot of detail… Its a french presentation not like an essay for english, and at this stage in french, the basic story would be all I’m capable of… do the differences still hold true? I’ve started reading (thanks for the links!) but I won’t be done in time to write the presentation… and I’ve already come across a few changes (Gavroche is Thernardier’s son for example - didn’t know that! so can anyone give me some more little details that I couldn’t miss please? Coz otherwise the story seems the same.
