What\’s your favourite brand of guide book?

Being from the UK, the majority of people use Lonely Planet, and that’s the primary guide book most bookshops stock, yet I’ve looked at a few Frommer’s guides recently and they seem to be much better than LP. Frommers tends to be laid out in a much more logical order than LP. Yes, I can see the concept of LP is to cover everything in one book, and some people like those types of books, but that leads to it being quite messy and hard to find things.

Does anyone know where to buy fairly recent 2nd hand lonely planet guides in Perth Western Australia?

Thanks :) yes already looked at libraries but as you would know they dont have every book and i cant take them with me. Helpful answers please!!
